A whole new world we live in chapter 6

It took a few days for us all to cross the Atlantic, taking breaks on the back of a wailord professor Birch had lent us. During our travels we all got to know each other a little better.

Winona explained that she was  training for some aerial pokemon competition called pokeringer. Before being teleported to my world I personally had no idea what this was but from what she said it certainly sounded like a good challenge for flying pokemon.

Maylene had apparently been doing her usual routine of training with her lucario. When the two touched down here they found themselves in the center of Liverpool with no idea where they were. Unluckily for them they also stumbled into an alleyway with some nasty gang members. They sure didn't expect a young girl and an odd creature to take them out.

Sabrina, on the other hand, made a very gentle entrance to our world. She arrived shortly after the Professors and Ethan just outside where the lab was.

And Lucas had arrived in the middle of a park, empoleon poised for battle. Like me and Lance he had been in a 'heated' discussion wit the police but was eventually released when a little girl ran past with a poochena in her arms.

''Well we made it'' I said as the five of us touched down just outside of New York. Sure enough my phone started ringing and it was Oak. ''Have you made it yet?'' he said, everyone returning their pokemon to their pokeballs. ''yes Professor. Any leads on trainers or corrupted pokemon?''

''We have reports of a group of strange people dressed like spacemen in New York along with two trainers staying within the same area.'' I thanked the professor and gathered the group together.

''Right. Seems like we have some galactic goons running about. We also have two trainers somewhere in the city. While pokemon are appearing everywhere at the moment I say we keep our presence to a minimum and only let ours out if absolutely necessary. Use your mobiles to call the rest of us if you find anything'' The other four nodded in agreement and we split up to see what we could find.

I ended up walking down by the water, getting a great view of the statue of liberty. After twenty minutes of searching I still hadn't found anything out of the ordinary. A few minutes earlier I received a call from Winona who had found the two trainers, revealed to be Hilbert(a strong trainer from unova) and The celadon city gym leader Erika. I was about to check in with Lucas and probably meet up with him when I heard the commotion.

''Hand over the adamant orb you miserable old man!'' A voice shouted from behind me. I spun around to see a classic looking galactic grunt in front of a trinket stall, bronzor poised to strike. ''Hey! Whats your problem?'' I yelled as I rushed to the mans side. ''get out of my way kid. This old geezer has the Adamant orb and I will get it for the boss even if I have to force you bronzor!''

the medallion-like pokemon began to glow a light blue, just like gardevoir had when she first appeared, telling me to get a pokemon out fast. Another blinding flash of white blinded me for a split second before Champion was by my side, fists burning. ''go Champion! use blaze kick!'' the orb dropped from its hovering position above the counter as the bronzor rocketed over the side of the path and into the water below. The galactic grunt looked on, stunned by the turn of events and recalling his pokemon. ''Boss we have a situation''

the man ran off but my attention was on the old man and the orb. ''Where did you get this?'' I asked, knowing of the relics use. ''I don't know! It wasn't even there this morning.'' he said, quivering. ''Its ok. You're safe now. I won't let those people harm you''

The others had obviously heard my little fight with the grunt as all six of them were now heading right for the stall. ''What happened?'' Sabrina asked as Lucas looked at the massive, diamond-like orb. ''Galactic grunt tried to steal the adamant orb. No idea how it got here but wouldn't be good letting them have it'' I replied.

''well we better prepare ourselves then. Look!'' Maylene exclaimed, pointing to the large group of galactic grunts running towards us, led by a certain red haired commander that Lucas recognized even before me.
