good day.Its been a very long time since ive been properly active here. Ive still been lurking about seeing stuff but my last proper post was a comission I got 2 years ago, honestly I've moved on already but with the forcing of eclipse in the very near future Im fully packing up and wont be back here any more since I cant be bothered to learn a new interface for a site I barely use now.
It doesnt mean im closing my account. I will be keeping everything here as is as a bit of an archive of times since past (and my awful writing!) and maybe ill drop in occasionally who knows.

1. What's your name?
Zorath Flamecloak. CEO and founder of Drake technologies and Supreme Chancellor of the Dragon Shadow Council.
What? That's my full name and title!
2. Do you know why you were named that?
Well I did come up with it to replace my old human name. The fun fact is that it originated from the name of a character I made back in guild wars 2 for a Char engineer. The name stuck and, well, here we are.
3. Are you single or taken?
Single.
4. Have any abilities or powers?
Well i'm an ice dragon so I can control ice very well, spit a freezing breath and my favorite thing, making an ice umbrella so I don't ever get wet! I also have taught myself shadow magics to make use of all the latent magical energy. So from that I can pretty much 'teleport' through shadows, become ethereal, fire shadow bolts etc. Its quite cool.

6. What's your eye colour?
Red. I can look very scary in complete darkness, especially if I light up my red vein like markings along my scales.

No hair left here. Just a pair of curved horns on my head.

Well I do have a family back home and I'd consider most of the DSC family by now.

Not really. Unless you count prototype robots. Have quite a few I've been experimenting with using magic as an energy source for.

hmmmm... Humans who consider all dragons bad and by extension dragons who have given us a bad name? Other than that brussel sprouts. Those things are disgusting.

Well between leading the Council and developing magic tech I do play video games, read and practice flying alot.

Indeed. Unfortunately is part of the job. When you try to keep human/dragon relations going into all out war you sometimes have to step in first. Its terrible but necessary.

Its a terrible thing and I avoid it at all costs but it has had to be done in the past and I will probably have to again in the future... some people just wont listen to reason...

Dragon. One of the first too!

Sometimes my emotions can get in the way and make me rush in without thinking. Its a rare thing but when it does happen its always at a bad time. Doesn't help when your powers go up when you're angry.

Life has been busy what with getting a job and starting my 3rd and final year of uni and with a session of D&D each sunday Ive been putting all my creative juices into that. However, when I first posted that journal, I was suddenly hit with a number of tests and work, one thing led to another, and I ended up forgetting about the questions. Question from DounutCereal : I've been wondering, does the DSC place its hideouts according to population in the area or have them evenly spread out across the world? Also, ever since Rex mentioned it, is the Southern Atoll has been a curiosity to me. Has anything much been done with it in the DSC universe yet?
Answer: Torkos answered this pretty much how I would, chambers are where we need them so mainly america and europe. what I can elaborate on is Drakon Atoll. if the DSC has a 'Main' base it would be there. Its basically a private island that only DSC members and Drake Tech employees can access. It has a big council chambers and also houses Drake Tech's main research lab as to keep civilians from being effected if anything ever goes wrong at all. Later on in the timeline Zorath even sets up his home there in the end. As said before though while it would be the 'main' base the council usually just uses the nearest chambers thanks to them all being pretty similar. if you need any more specifics on drakon atoll just let me know what you wish to know.
Question from Lord-DracoDraconis : I never can exactly tell where Draco is on the "pecking order" of the DSC...
Answer: Before I talk about draconis specifically I feel I should go over how the DSC works in terms of members. I am Supreme Chancellor which is due to the fact I founded the council and the Head Councilors are given that title because they were the other founding members. myself and the head councilors are mainly just figureheads people can talk to if needs be. there is of course the inner circle of the group but those are just the first few members who joined (that includes everyone in group pretty much) those not in the inner circle are like those hierarchy members the council took in after the final flight (ie characters that are basically NPCs)
As for where Draconis is specifically I would say he seems similar to torbjorn in overwatch in that hes our armor, weapon and tech expert. Hes a central part of the council and I would say a good few members would call him our resident techie/communications officer. but thats just my thoughts on it from the stories and info ive read/heard.
Question from Bahogar : What is the structure of the DSC? -the roles of the main members, the commanding chain, its missions, its goals?
Answer: I think between my last answer and torkos' answer on this we covered pretty much everything. in terms of the people on the front of the DSC page roles I would think are as follows:
Myself: Leader, head of drake tech(magic/tech research and development company)
kettou: Mage, Eastern relations expert?(not too sure on kettou. he doesnt show up too often in the main stories but i feel he would be our main connection to the countires to the east ie japan,china etc)
Rob: Guardian, biggest dragon in the world
Torkos: Doctor, combat medic, family man(XD)
Rex: flight school instructor, MIA
Blake: Extra dimensional specialist
Arakod: Warrior (only thing i could think of. let me know if you have any more titles arakod!)
Drohung: Ninja, stealth specialist
Edge: Engineer, Head of Edge Industries(tech/engineering company)
DarkDrake: Warrior (same issue as arakod. again let me know if you have more titles!)

commanding chain i covered already so missions? to help dragons and humans to live peacefully together. simple really. we do what we can to stop wars, help struggling people etc etc. in general we try to be the good guys.
What weapons, materials do they have?
I cant speak for all members but I do have a few peices up on here detailing some of Drake Tech's weaponry. Its more on the crazy end of the council's arsenal but in short the DSC has access to the latest in modern weaponry and also acess to plenty of magic based weaponry and such. Is there any limit on time travel / teleportation / magic?
Yes of course! most mages can use alot of magic but bigger spells use more energy. Iv also covered how some gems enhance or store magical energy in the past, hence why Zorath can either be fast and agile with less magical power or almost immobile with massive magical power depending on how long the crystals grow on his wings.
As for teleportation I honestly dont know about other poeple. I know people think Zorath can but technically he just merges with the shadows and travels along them and since shadows are the same speed as light it looks like instantaneous teleportation most of the time.
And to touch on time travel it doesnt exist in our universe. If someone does try to time travel they simply move to a dimension identical to ours but however far ahead or behind they wanted to travel. no paradox or time changing issues at all since its yet another of the infinite dimensions that exist. Generally though Ill leavetime jumping and all those crazy things to winslow. Ill focus on our current day issues first thank you.
Question from Arakod-Qirian: Do we have a dungeon/prison for our baddies/traitors?
Answer: The DSC itself does not. The closest thing is the Magical containment cells the main lab of Drake Tech houses which is used to hold any unstable or dangerous magical sources be they objects or unstable magic users. Not used for punishment but to keep themselves and everyone else safe from any sort of craziness the could cause.
